Absolutely loved the property and the staff greeted you every time they saw you. Rooftop experience was the best with the friendliest and best bartender, whose name fails me after she was so kind! She was there Tuesday Aug 19th at opening, and we were the first!!! The only advice to offer is to ensure the comforters are changed and cleaned and not to just place a sheet on top. House cleaning came late and was unable to clean our room, and there was a communication gap, as she said she didn’t speak English. This also happened to our friends that travel with us and had a separate room. I was able to show her I needed towels and Washcloths after our 4th and final night of our stay. Other than that the front and concierge staff, location, convenience, gym area, ambiance all make this a top rated experience and hotel

This was one of the nicest hotels I ever stayed at. It smelled so good in the rec area and the layout was so unique. The room was clean and spacious the view was amazing. We will definitely give this hotel 5 out 5 stars

The design of this hotel is commendable, particularly if one appreciates quirky aesthetics, which I do. The staff proved to be very helpful and courteous. This hotel is excellently situated centrally and is characterized by excellent personnel.

Loved our room with the view of the river. Loved the design of entire hotel. Very contemporary as it appears to be part of old warehouse district on the river. We had the corner room with river view. Restaurant was also good. Only negative was it took them an hour to get our car from the valet garage. Luckily we didn’t have a plane to catch!

Excellent property. It was clean and quiet but has a rooftop lounge that was nice if wanting to hang out. The proximity to Beale street is convenient as well

Although Caption by Hyatt suited my needs for a single night stay, I can't say I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The positives: the room was clean and it served its purpose, and it is located in a very walkable area. The negatives: staff are not very responsive to guest needs and the design of the rooms is not very functional. FYI parking in the garage across the street for one day cost $12.

Friendly staff, the front-end manager was great, the valet personnel were excellent, and the cashier from Indonesia in the cafe was great. The hotel was clean and very convenient for my needs. Wish there were a breakfast restaurant, stayed 3 nights without the room being cleaned. I would stay again.

The staff was super helpful and kind! Sheets and room were also very clean, hotel was overall a really cool space. And quiet. It was a little weird because Hyatt Caption has now merged with Hyatt Centric, so you essentially have to check in at Centric and walk to the Caption side. There was a really great sitting space and a bar on the Caption side but it (bar) was not in operation. You have to go to the Centric side. The hotels are adjoining, so not a huge deal. But there were specific reasons why I chose to stay at Caption and not Centric. That said, it’s within a short walking distance from Beale Street, a handful of restaurants, and a coffee/bagel/pastry shop (Hive) nearby.

I didn’t like the parking garage but luckily my car was safe and secured only cost a few bucks loved the location I had the corner room on the 9th floor quiet and soothing we had to extend our stay because of how nice and convenient this hotel was

Great location everything is pretty much walking distance you will have to park across the street which unfortunately cost a couple dollars per day this hotel also provides valet for about 35 Bucks per day overall staff is nice rooms clean I got the corner room for my husband and I it was a very nice stay we actually ended up extended our stay and oh don’t forget to check out the roof top bar it’s amazing as well especially at night
