These are exterior access rooms. I was given a walkup on the very end. It turned out to be a smoking room. I called and asked if there was a non smoking room and there was, but I had to carry luggage back down and go all the way back to the desk. I was tired when I checked in and did not ask, but the desk should have asked me smoking or non. The room was pretty nice/new, except for a cigarette burn on the duvet, but it did not smell like smoke at least. They charge you $50 deposit, refundable supposedly when you leave. I used a credit card for the deposit just in case I needed to dispute anything. I mentioned the refund upon checking out, and it was refunded pretty fast, whereas the night clerk said it could take 5 days. Okay choice for a cheap hotel, but I could never stay in a room that smelled as bad as that first one did. Neighborhood seems a little iffy.
