“This cottage is actually newly built, very clean, modern design and well-stocked. I found it to be a great location to visit many places in the Basque region ranging from coast to city to mountains. It was nice not to have to drive out and back in to a city every day. I would stay here again. ”

“Un super sejour au calme dans la magnifique propriété d'Alex et Xavi.
Le lieu et le jardin sont magnifiques et super bien équipés. On peut se faire du café a la réception, il y a même un distributeur de boissons et nourriture pour depanner.

“We had a lovely time in Otxandio / The Basque experience house. The house is nice and cool when the weather is hot, it is very spacious. Lovely kitchen. Nice beds/ good matrasses. It is well located. Swimming in the nearby lake was very refreshing. ”

“There were many things we liked. First of all the view of the mountains, which changed many times during the day. Then of course the horses, which announced themselves by the bell of their chief. The horses were fond of pears and came by several times a day, to check if any pears had fallen down from the trees. Some of them even succeeded in shaking the trees, to make the pears fall. Clever animals.

“Our family stayed in the house for a couple of days and were really made to feel at home by Javier and Estíbaliz who prepared us a home cooked meal for our arrival (delicious croquetas and tortilla) as we were arriving late. The views were fantastic and the kids really enjoyed pool and pool table! Would highly recommend.”

“Das Haus ist ein Teil einer Einheit mit drei Apartments. Alles weitere ist wie angegeben. Die grosse Terasse ist nicht einsehbar, so dass man den Ausblick ungestört genießen kann. Fernando und seine Frau sind hervorragende, sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Man kann direkt vom Haus loswerden und ist unmittelbar im Naturschutzgebiet. Fußläufig gibt es zwei gute Restaurants (falls man nicht kochen möchte). Insbesondere Goiko Benta ist sehr zu empfehlen.
