Ample space for the family and very convenient for visiting Blairdrummond, Stirling jail and even the Kelpies. Thank you for lovely welcome hamper. The hot tub was an added bonus. “A central location for exploring Falkirk and surrounds, the unit was fully equipped with everything one needs for self catering. It was new and very clean. Especially appreciated the washing machine. A little over decorated made it feel cluttered but otherwise a great place to stay. ”

“Wonderful apartment and great location. Owner was available and even helped us with coins for the parking meter. We got a workout climbing 72 steps each way (no lifts in the building). Everything was within walking distance, Dunfermline is lovely. A great central location for seeing St. Andrews, isle of May, Edinburgh & Glasgow. Plus plenty of local culture. We would stay again!”

“Just spent a fantastic week at The Kist. Beautifully appointed holiday house in a wonderfully peaceful location. Nicely isolated, but close to lovely villages with coffee shops etc. Glorious views of the Campsie hills in one direction and the Cairngorms in the other when out exploring the area. “The cottage was amazing, everything we needed and more for a quiet weekend away as a family. The setting was beautiful. The cottage is situated on the site of a wedding venue but it is far enough away to not be disturbed or us not to infringe on the wedding celebrations taking place. A gem of a property that allowed us to just chill. We would love to return in the future.”

“Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips.”

“Lodge had great views and spacious lounge and dining area. The location is great and the lodge areas are well kept. It was great that one of the bedrooms have a sink given there is only 1 bathroom. I would book to stay again. The only negatives really are that the size of the fridge was tiny and was only really suitable for putting milk and a few other small items. We had to keep a lot of our food in a cool box we had thankfully brought with us. There also wasn't great storage in the……

"Limited parking space, staff is helpful and friendly, I can see lots of dog owners check in every time passing the reception. Limited resources provided inside the room which is understandable for this price range."
