“This little house by Lake Shawnee was a great launching off point for seeing family in the area, touring museums, and most of all resting from the Holidays. Walking the dog along the lake really helped me decompress from the Holidays and recenter and reset for the new year. The inside of the house was exceptionally clean. Backyard could benefit from a leaf raking. That said, I highly recommend this place.”

The location is convenient to south Lawrence with a grocery store half a block away and many fast food restaurants. The host is very responsive to communications and very helpful. ”

“What a cool place this is, nestled in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood of Victorians and other older houses, with kids playing outside and kitties on front porches. Reminds me of my childhood a million years ago! “This is quite simply an exceptional property and host. Everything is as advertised and this is a great place for a weekend in Lawrence. There is plenty of space for four people. There are indeed four *actual* bedrooms and a nice kitchen area. The back yard is huge, with a firepit and firewood, with rocking chairs.
