You can walk by foot to the various restaurants of Gialova, and to the beach. We enjoyed it and also experienced some other beaches in the area, as well as the archeological sites nearby. “Wir waren mit zwei Kindern Ende Oktober/Anfang November für 9 Tage in dem Ferienhaus. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen und besteht aus zwei Wohnungen, jew. mit Küche und Bad. Einrichtung und Ausstattung sind einfach und teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört. Küchenausstattung ok. Wunderbarer Garten mit Orangen- und Grantapfelbäumen und einiges was blüht und das im November. Schöner, wenig frequentierter Strand und klares Wasser. Wir waren jeden Tag schwimmen.……

“Carlos Mansion Hotel was the first stop on our Peloponnesian trip and it was a delight to spend time at the hotel. In truth, it's more of a serviced flat than a hotel and the owners take extra care to make sure your stay is comfortable and quiet. The area is quite rural but still easily walkable to Methoni, and the flat itself was well-appointed and a little oasis to relax and enjoy quiet breakfasts or afternoon siestas. ”
