I stayed at the Iberostar hotel in Miami for 3 nights. The location was good, but the amenities did not meet the standards of a typical 4-star hotel. The staff was not very friendly, and some of them couldn’t speak English. The room amenities were limited — there was no bottled water or kettle, and the furnishings were outdated. At the front desk, only one lady, whom I saw in the evening, was friendly; the rest were not. The cleaning was not done properly every day. The pillows had a very unpleasant odor, which made the room smell, and the toiletries provided were inadequate. There was even a lack of a shower cap. The hotel did not seem to follow an American-style management system.
