I booked this hotel for myself, my husband and two other couples. I was pleased with our city view king suites size and cleanliness. We were supposed to get room service daily, but they missed 2 days during our stay for one of our rooms. I was disappointed at the lack of entertainment at the hotel, but local bars and restaurants do have fun things going on. I thought there would be someone playing the piano in the hotel bar and also I thought they would have something celebrating July 4th Holliday. Breakfast at hotel was good. Drinks at the bar very expensive. All servers and Beach attendants were very nice. There was a lot of seaweed at their beach the last few days of our stay and I was surprised they don’t clean it off daily, as I have seen other hotels do where I have vacationed. Overall it’s a nice, laid back hotel.

The view was horrendous, the front desk never answers the phone and when they did they were extremely rude and unaccommodating. Our first night, the neighbors were beating on the wall and yelling obscenities. After calling the front desk, they delivered ice to the "wrong room" after hours The housekeeper tried to come in our room when we didn't answer because we were sleeping. We ordered DoorDash the 3rd night of our stay and the front desk staff said they threw away our food. The property was under renovations which meant constructions noises all day and not relaxing. Anytime the wind blew the staff took the umbrellas down at the beach and pool. We had to buy our own beach umbrellas if we wanted to be comfortable. The staff would come and take your towel as soon as you got out of the pool. This "resort" was far from relaxing. If you have the chance to cancel your reservation, please find somewhere else. Don't waste your time, money, or vacation on this property.

The National Hotel was wonderful. Took my two adult daughters and one daughter’s partner for a Girls’ Vacation. The rooms and hotel are hip and funky with an Art Deco vibe. Shout out to ‘Kiki’, ‘Rachel’, ‘Alex’, and ‘Alejandra’ at the front desk; ‘Jeremy’ and ‘Yulia’ at the poolside Aqua Bar; ‘Shawn’, ‘Brandi’, and ‘Pablo’ in the pool area; as well as ALL the other staff in the hotel, pool, and beach areas. Everyone was very attentive! One thing I loved is that guests are allocated loungers, towels, and umbrellas in both the pool area and the beach. No “fighting for or saving loungers” nonsense!!! Guests request the number needed (there are ‘huts’ at the pool area and at the beach). For example, 2 guests would get 2 loungers, each lounger set up with a lounger towel cover and towels. Umbrellas are then situated by the staff for shade or sun, per guest preference. The staff sets up everything, both at the pools and on the beach. I also love the food and drink service at both pool areas and beach. The beach itself is stunning, as is the panorama of Miami Beach resorts lining the shore. The hotel is right on the ‘Collins Ave. Strip’, as I’ve dubbed it. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

The staff in the hotel, from the housekeeping personnel to the staff by the pool, where exceptionally helpful and always made you feel welcomed and important. The only drawback to my stay were two construction crews (one in the hotel and the other next door), constantly drilling and hammering away near the pool areas.

This was our first time staying in an adult only property. We were traveling without the kids and the National Hotel was an amazing option with no kids. Hotel was super clean, rooms were nice size, housekeeping was AMAZING!! Can not say enough about this property. We will definitely be back!

We traveled with a large group and the secuirty officer kept harassing our family. We had several rooms including the penthouse We walked across the street for breakfast and brought our pastries into the lobby and we're told that we could not eat inside or outside the facilities. The officer was rude and told us that we had to eat in our own rooms. Then the next day we were at the pool area and we had stopped to get some water and some snacks for our cruise and we had already checked our bags and he told us we had to leave the facilities. I would not recommending stay here without targeted by the security officer and again he was most unfriendly and unprofessional.
