This place served its purpose. It was very affordable for the area, however I’m the type of person where I understand that you get what you pay for. I read many reviews, & many of the main complaints are that it’s outdated & noisy, which were both true. Thankfully, to my advantage, I wasn’t prioritizing “newness” when I was looking for a place to stay (especially because prices are typically high everywhere around March, which is when I went), & I am a hard sleeper, so I didn’t hear a thing even though it does get very loud at night with the bar that’s right beside the place.
My priorities were low pricing, cleanliness, & safety, which I felt pretty good with once I got there & inspected the place. Sonia was there & checked me in & was very nice - very little English, but thankfully I can speak basic Spanish & we were able to figure the basics out. Overall, an “average” stay, but that was good enough for me. I’d say know what you’re willing to tolerate & understand the risk. If you want cheaper & can tolerate a few nuisances (older space, no room service, noisy at night, etc), then this is a steal. If not, then this isn’t the space for you. Also, I liked the fact that there was a microwave & a fridge in the room. Good enough for my 3-night stay!
