From my experience at the Marriott Residence Inn in South Beach, the location was fantastic. However, as someone with respiratory and environmental sensitivities triggered by VOCs and other contaminants, I found the lobby air quality challenging. Fortunately, there’s a back entrance that allows you to walk straight to your room, bypassing the lobby entirely—making it a much easier option for those with asthma, COPD, or similar conditions.
I also found the breakfast area best early in the morning. Later, it gets crowded, and the waffle machines, toaster, and food stations don’t have the best ventilation. The combination of sunlight hitting the glass, body heat from guests, CO2, and VOCs in a packed room can be overwhelming. My tip: go for breakfast early, use the back stairs, and enjoy the prime location without the extra hassle. #HealthyTravel
