This hotel was better than expected. Front desk was helpful and nice. If you planning to stay in an affordable hotel inthe heart of south beach , then this is the one. Great dining area and walking distance to the beach.

We booked the king suite with bathtub. It has a bigger bathroom with double sinks as well as a balcony. At check in we paid the $400 deposit plus the $35 per night resort fee. In total paying $537 at check in. Upon entering our room, we discovered we were not assigned the room we booked. The room we were assigned did not have a bathtub and the only sink was located outside the bathroom by the front door. We double checked our reservation and went back to the front desk. The front desk representative said that the rooms are assigned the night prior and called the manager to speak with us. The manager advised that the room we booked had a broken AC and they could not assign us that room. We then had to ask to be compensated due to the room we booked costing more. We were told that we would be refunded the resort fee at check out. This should have been told to us at checkin, which the resort fee could have been waived. The room we were assigned had some issues. The shelf in the bathroom with the extra towels, kept falling down whenever we grabbed a towel or tried to hang one up. Monday we left the room before 12pm, we saw the room next to ours being cleaned. We came back to the room around 4pm with no cleaning done. At 5pm housekeeping knocked on the door to clean the room. We asked if they could come back in a hour so we could get dressed for dinner and was told they would be off. The sink had slow draining and would fill up when used. No communication from staff with issues.

This place was really mid… the location was absolutely amazing, right on ocean drive, central to everything and the beach is literally 2 seconds away but the hotel itself… cleanliness was not there… check in was horrid!!! And the pool felt so dirty and you get charged $25 if you don’t return the beach towels by the end of each day… even if the towel is with you until the morning, you get charged if it’s not returned by the night, weird… anyway would I stay here again? No. But great location so it’s it’s up to you :)

we come to Miami at least once or twice a year if this is the only place that we have been staying. The service is phenomenal and very helpful. They also will keep our luggage until our room is available if we do get there early. They do try to accommodate early rooms if there is availability.

Check-in was smooth and professional, which set a good first impression. However, the experience quickly declined. Room 320 is located directly above a club, and the noise at night was unbearable—definitely not ideal for light sleepers. The mattresses are old and uncomfortable, making it hard to get proper rest. Cleaning quality was mediocre at best—about a 3-star level. The elevator was painfully slow, adding to the overall frustration. Despite a good welcome, the stay didn’t live up to expectations.

I arrived to check in and was told my room wasn't ready. They said they would call me to let me know when it was ready... I never received a call. My reservation was for a king-size bed, but they gave me a room with a queen bed. I never received the bottle of wine. It's not bad, but they need a lot of coordination.

Front desk was amazing! Very attentive, and accommodating. The restaurant downstairs was sooo much fun , food was really good and the ambiance was everything! I would definitely go back . It’s a block away from the beach , and the Clevander ! Perfect spot to stay . Roof top pool also a plus !

Fairwinds is in the center of the Art Deco area of Miami Beach and you can walk everywhere from there. It is very clean and the staff is very helpful. Two blocks from the beach, too!

Great property, location location location is prime TOP NOTCH. It's so convenient and walkable to everywhere within 2 minute you are at the beach and right in the middle of best part of ocean drive. Now if you are looking for a restful hotel, this is not it. You will be in full blasting dj mode (It's a party/ restaurant )from 11 a m to sometimes 3 a m.
