I was very disappointed with the check in process. For a Marriott property, I expected better. We arrived early from our cruise ship, which I knew we probably would not be able to check in at that time, but were told once rooms were ready, we could check in and that they would call us. We checked periodically throught the day, without any luck. Finally, at 3:45, I went back to the front desk to find out WHEN we could check in and the supervisor said our rooms were ready. (The clerk we were working with throughout the day was gone and we never received a phone call.) Supervisor was very friendly and helpful.
On the plus side, we were able to store our luggage and use the pool.
