The hotel’s conditions were completely unacceptable, making it impossible for me to sleep and ultimately ruining my trip.
Here are the major issues I encountered:
• The bed sheet was ripped, and no proper bedding was provided—only one duvet cover, leaving me freezing throughout the night.
• The fire alarm went off three times between 11 PM and 4 AM, with no front desk assistance or fire department response.
• The room was right next to a highway, with constant motorbike engine noise preventing any rest.
• The hotel was in an unsafe area, with a security fence separating the front desk from guest rooms—something I have never seen at any other hotel.
• The bathroom was dirty, with a used soap bar left in the tub from the previous guest.
• The TV was broken.
• I recorded these conditions on video as proof.
Due to these conditions, I was unable to sleep all night, which negatively impacted my road trip the following day. I have been a loyal Expedia customer for years, and I am extremely disappointed by this experience. Given the $180 per night rate, I expected at least basic cleanliness, safety, and functionality, none of which were met.
