“We saw the lovely and stunningly remodeled studio and had checked in for a Dunes visit (my son and I), but extenuating family issues unfortunately preempted our trip. After contacting the host, Justin, he was very understanding and empathetic. We definitely plan on staying again when our family health issues mitigate or fully resolve. Once again, great host and studio!! 5 stars!!”

“Absolute perfection! So glad we decided to start our vacation a day early! Found this on VRBO complete with rescue animals, a pond, multiple acres of flowers and greenery, 2 Airstreams, and our rental loft atop the vintage Blue Barn. We spent the day at Lake Michigan, then came back to the property to relax. We had a bonfire and made s'mores to top off the evening. The following morning it was time to travel to our intended vacation in Traverse City, Michigan. The owners were outside working……

“My family and I had a great stay at Dune Sky! We are a family with two kids, 13 and 10. Very quick walk to the beach, which has an incredible amount of soft sand. Ultimately, the place earned a five star review due to their service. We stayed at the end of July 2025 when the country had a "heat dome" with temperatures in the mid-90s from the south all the way to Michigan. The air-conditioning displayed a warning that it was no longer working properly. I sent a message through VRBO after……

“Cute place! We were looking for a close walk to the beach and it definitely was! We were impressed with all that was provided, like the dishes, coffee, beach towels and 4 awesome beach chairs that came in handy. Justin was great with communicating and making sure everything was good with our stay. We hope to stay there again next year!”
