Little Beach House on the Prairie

O mile walk or drive to beach. 3 bedrooms up, master with whirlpool tub and balcony. Living, dining, kitchen, enclosed porch and expansive sun deck overlooking dunes, beach and lake on the 2nd level. Family entertainment bunk room on the ground. If you use sofa beds and inflatables you can sleep 20 plus.

Slice of Heaven a Short Drive from Chicago

This is a great house with comfy beds, nice open floor plan, spacious decks and just steps from the beach! While the neighborhood seemed busy, once you walk through the Blue door, it is a quite, private, calm escape with lots of space to relax, connect and chill with family or friends. Has nice amenities (grill, blender, convection over, surf board, beach bike, etc) and Paul was an super responsive host!

We had a great time at this property. Paul has everything you could possibly want to make your stay fantastic: beach towels, books, every kitchen gadget you could want, tons of bathrooms, great patio space, lots of bedrooms. If you’re looking for a getaway on the lake, look no further, this one’s a gem.

Great beach house in Michigan City, IN

A group of friends and I stayed at this home last week and had the best time. This home sits right on the beach in Michigan City, IN and accessible via a short trail from the back yard. There was plenty of room for all of us (10 adults) to sleep comfortably with each of us having our own bed. The home is clean and comfortable and has a nice backyard deck where we grilled each night. The beach itself is very nice as well, not crowded (somewhat private), and the water was perfect. I would highly recommend this beach house especially if you are from the Chicago area or live within driving distance. It is a quick trip from Chicago by car and the South Shore Train stops about a mile or less from the house. If you decide to go out for dinner there are several options nearby such as Fish Camp (highly recommended) or Shoreline Brewery. The host is a great guy and he gave us a tour of the property when we arrived. No need to drive all the way up to Michigan if you want a nice beach getaway, this is your spot.
