“The Inn on Mount Desert is an older property very close to downtown with ample free parking. Leave your car there and walk. The free breakfasts are amazing; two options every morning such as an omelet, bluberry pancakes or blueberry waffles, with ham, sausage, etc. Plus the usual bagels, muffins always available, coffee always available, and so on. The rooms are plain but large with ample closet space. Everything well maintained and very clean.”

"The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient."
