“My family stayed at this lovely house during a trip to Clarksville to visit my grandmother for her birthday. The house very comfortably fit our group of 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 0-5). The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and well-stocked. The welcome basket of cookies, coffee pods, and wine was very much appreciated! “We had a fantastic stay at Better Lake Than Never! The home was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated. Marc the host was incredibly responsive and made check-in a breeze. We especially appreciated home away from home comforts such as a surplus of fresh towels and a well-stocked kitchen with high quality cookware and utensils. The large jetted tub was clean and so very relaxing, not to mention the provided kayaks, life vests, fishing rods, tons of games……

“We booked this property late in the season. Great location in quiet cove. The photos were close to fully representing the house with the exception of there not being closets in two of the bedrooms. No dressers or closets in the two upstairs rooms .linens were clean and the property was well maintained in the quiet culdesac. We used the kayak available and the boathouse for our rented pontoon boat. A great getaway for our family of 4 adults and 4 kids.”

“My only suggestions for those who rent here if possible just try to arrive while there is day light. The roads to the house at night are extremely dark. But other than that the experience was amazing. The house was perfect for our family and we enjoyed every second. “Beautiful home with all the extra touches (paper products, hand soap, shampoo, etc.) provided in a very quiet setting. We enjoyed the back porch and the fire pit. A couple of things to be aware of: the road leading up to the home is gravel (well maintained), the walk to the dock is about 1/5 of a mile on somewhat uneven ground, and the stairs going into the basement are steep and unfinished. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the relaxation. Deer greeted us each morning. We would recommend this……
