“On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. Wish we knew that. On the up side:……

“This little cabin nails it. Charming log-cabin decor with two comfortable beds in lofts. You can look out the skylights to the trees (and the stars) while lying in bed. The kitchen has everything you need - perhaps not ideal for cooking huge meals but great for breakfast and other basic meals. The fireplace and wood stove are huge bonuses, and Jill and John keep it stocked with everything you need to build a fire. “The stay from March 1st-March 4th was perfect. It was snowing when we arrived on Saturday and watching it from the sliding doors to the deck was stunning. My husband and I and our 3 adult children had a cozy time with perfect accommodations. We will absolutely book again. ”
