The property does not allow you to stay unless you pay via their online form. This leaves you either at risk of being a scam victim by paying the additional secret fee, or without a place……

“I stayed in the Chatsworth Ensuite room while away on business and it was such a refreshing change from a tired, soulless room in a hotel chain. The bathroom is beautiful and I left disappointed I couldn't stay longer to make use of the enormous bathtub. Homely touches like candles and real milk for a coffee means I hope this room will be available next time I travel. Clear instructions are provided ahead of your arrival for a seamless check in. “A beautiful, cozy, delightful cottage in the heart of Bakewell. My mother and I stayed here for 5 nights and had everything we could want, and were even able to make ourselves dinner in the well equipped kitchen. The front patio was a peaceful spot to sit, and we loved the location. The house was very comfortable and the host was very responsive and kind. One of our favorite vacation rentals ever. ”

“WISH WE HADN’T!!! . No lights at all working on communal stairs so pitch black up to top floor apartment apartment. Stuff from other flats left on stairs so added to trip hazard. Kitchen poorly equipped , we had to go and buy something to cook in , no bread board , peeler etc. oven was disgusting, oily and old burnt food left in it . communication on location and flat number very poor so we ended up knocking on other people’s doors until we got a call from Vrbo finally . Smoke alarm in front……

“really comfortable stay - the cottage is cosy but has high ceilings so no banged heads and it doesn't feel cramped. beds really comfy. fantastic location - amazing walks from outside the front door. lovely pub in the village down the hill. and the owners run the tea room next door so left us a lovely plate of cakes on arrival! ”

“Property is short walk into Mansfield town center. Apartment had all the amenities for cooking and laundry. Just downfall was no soap or shampoo or laundry powder luckily i checked in early too purchase so was not an issue but cloud imagine if i checked it late”
