Hotel is just ok. I want to complain is the bathroom. They give me a disable bathroom of which I did not request and we are not disable. It is a small walk in shower with no glass partition just a shower curtain. Water splash all over especially the bathroom is small. Another worst thing is the tiolet bowl seat is extemely high. When you sit on it, your feet can not touch the ground.The tiolet seat is installedhe tiolet one side higher than the other. You feel like sitting on a slanting angle. Extremely weird and uncomfortable. Never have seen and experienced a tiolet seat like that. My husband is off the wall and furious. Complained but no use. This is the first bad experience I have with Hotel.com choice of hotel offer. I am your loyal customer. Your can check my record. Hope Hotel.com can give me a return gesture on this matter.

Las personas encargadas de la limpieza de la habitación, no lo hacían como se suponía y a veces parecía que ni realizaban la limpieza. No proper help or assistance in the luggage situation and there is 7 or 8 stairs so it wasn’t convenient the receptionist helped me carrying my luggage in and out but if you shouldn’t carry weight this is not your property

Beautiful hotel, very well located, on a quiet street. Design is awesome, vinyl/bluetooth speaker was much appreciated. Super comfy sheets and room was top clean. I had to sleep during the day and was very satisfied with the totally opaque curtains. Soundproofing could be improved though. I could hear my neighbour zipping their suitcase. I felt bad for all the music I enjoyed on the vinyl player but was happy I did not have lovers living their passion nextdoor ;)

Solo female traveler - I stayed at Max Brown's Milan 5 story for 5-nights. PROS: Staff was very nice. "Hip" reception area. CONS: Many! Wouldn't stay at Max Brown again. (1) Requested a bathtub. Showerhead was broken (only pointed at wall immediately behind showerhead) and no hot water. Switched to new room w/no bath tub, only corner shower but was so tiny (tiniest of Euro showers) was difficult. I'm not big (5'5" 142 lbs size 4/S), could barely maneuver to wash my hair, elbows hit the shower handles and turned off water, I had to face one direction. Had to bend elbows to stay inside shower or not hit walls. Men would have hard time. Only one VERY dim light in bathroom that getting ready in the bathroom was impossible. Total lack of mirrors and no full length mirror in room. Yes there's a stereo but I needed mirrors/lights.(2) Common hallways are tiled and all noise (footsteps, luggage, shoe heels, carts, kids) reverberated throughout like an echo chamber into room. (3) Maintenance had loud banging of hammer on rock or tile starting at 7:50AM rang throughout hotel echoing in hall for HOURS. (4) The "Do Not Disturb" sign on door while I was gone but room service cleaned room anyway. This was not acceptable as I had not secured my valuables and specifically didn't want anyone in room. (5) Reception area had a bunch of snacks, drinks and candy but nothing was complimentary. (6) Hard bed. (7) Carpeted floors but no robes or slippers provided.

Musiken ingår

Rätt litet rum men oerhört charmigt med bland annat egen skivspelare (inklusive LP-skivor) och varma och sköna färger. Sängen jätteskön att sova i med bra kuddar och täcke. Reception och bar var som att träda in i en film från 40-talet med mängder av detaljer och, likt rummet, behaglig färgsättning. Vi bodde 6 nätter från tisdag till måndag, men av någon anledning uteblev städning av rummet på lördagen och söndagen. Lite konstigt. Vi köpte till frukost. Vi hade önskat mer pålägg än en sorts ost och en sorts skinka (kokt) men baconen får högsta betyg liksom äggröran. Gillar man bullar och kakor så är Max Browns frukost en fantastisk upplevelse med muffins, pannkakor, kakor, wienerbröd och så vidare. Stort plus för att det går att säga till om man önskar espresso, cappuccino och dylikt. Vi gillade Max Brown och återkommer gärna.

Wonderful property with friendly morning team (reception and breakfast team especially) and also our bartender, Ludovica, who was a great mixologist and made us feel like we were VIPs. Location is great, too. One of the better European breakfasts we've ever had - lots to choose from and delicious.
