“Just wow! We truly enjoyed the Cabin, the amazing view (especially at sunrise), and the area. The cabin was clean, well appointed with games, movies, kitchen supplies and anything we could need. Loved the fire pit and hot tub. Lots of wildlife viewing, even had a bear make a brief appearance in the yard. The area didn't disappoint either, from a pontoon at Burnsville to the local state parks, we have a wonderful visit.”

“The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. Obviously, we were totally fine and……

“Austin was a fantastic host - responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. The videos of the property were super helpful and accurately reflected the space. Our group absolutely loved this unit - it was perfect for our weekend getaway to the 4848 Festival. By far, this has been our favorite place to stay at Snowshoe. Highly recommend!”
