“I traveled to Alaska to watch our two great friends complete the HOKA HEY Challenge. A motorcycle ride from Key West to Homer. I brought the wives to see them across the finish line. Once there they just wanted to relax and recover, this location was perfect to do so, yet close enough to Homer to enjoy everything that Alaska has to offer. Great location, great host, great times. Thank you. ”

“We were very disappointed, as it did not match the pictures. Property was unkempt and overgrown with weeds. The outhouse had cobwebs and was not very clean. The cottage was a bit rundown, and poorly supplied. There were no paper towels or tissues, and only 2 little kitchen towels and 1 washcloth, so it was difficult to maintain any decent hygiene, or even wash the dishes. If you are considering this place, bring towels and all your own supplies. ”

“This picture does not do it justice. Once inside the tree house was very quaint. There are a total of 3 tree house accommodations and 2 or 3 other rentals. You have access to a fire pit and a grill. The owner is onsite and very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. ”

“Bulk of our stay was in Seward, but came over to this side of the peninsula for a couple nights. Was a great setup for 4 adults, with lots of room to stretch out and a full kitchen (well stocked, communal with guests before/after).”

“Amazing! Wow! Squeaky clean but no cleaning odors. Comfy bed. Inspiring and soothing mural by local artist. Novel hot tub— super clean, simple, quiet, deep, one perfect powerful jet to takes the knots out. Budding aspen, immaculate grounds, kind/happy staff and proprietor. Again I say wow! “We love Donna’s beach house. The cabin is very comfortable and she keeps,it spotless. The views are magnificent of the mountains and glaciers across the bay.The access to the beach is wonderful and we saw otters, seals and sea lions as the tide swings from high to low.We had a great campfire on the beach which the grandkids loved with S’mores a plenty Donna’s cabin is a must whenever we visit Homer. The weather this year was amazing, blue skys and warm (for homer that is).”
