“It's definitely a great space to stay to be central to town. The location is first-class: walking distance to town, beaches, and a local pub.A few small things to be aware of when booking. The fridge is very small, we had 4 adults, 2 children, and we had to use two eskys to keep everything we needed.The internet is incredibly patchy, also neither TV has great service, and they aren't smart TVs. Not overly an issue, as in summer you'd be at the beach, but as one day was cold and raining for us,……

“What a beautiful property! We had an hours-long tour with Kathy, the caretaker, who lives in a cottage at the back of the property. There was so much to explore! The kids loved the pool. We played tennis. We walked, and walked, and walked. Quirky, and fun! Kathy and the team go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Beds were comfy, and lots of care taken to keep the place clean and visually interesting. Enjoy! ”

“We were met at the gate by Sophie, property manager, who took us on a tour through her beautiful gardens and who was kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our four night stay. Jam, milk, cofee and tea were provided for us. The cottage is clean and well set out, with the second bed being a sofa bed which was suitable for one daughter but wouldn't have suited both. The owner had checked with us ahead of time and thus, we'd brought our own blow up mattress, so all was well. The girls enjoyed the……

“Beachport retreat is the perfect family getaway location. This is by far the best equipped family friendly house I've stayed in, not detail was overlooked. Our 4 year old relished in the box of lego and the selection of quality DVDs was appreciated by all. The only possible inconvenience is the distance from the centre of town, but it is still a pleasant walk of a quick cycle.”
