Large Summer Rental - Near Baxter State Park

Large House close to local trails and only 17 miles to Baxter Park Gates South Entrance. Great home base while enjoying the many outdoor activities of the Penobscot Region. Minutes from snowshoeing, ATV, bike, snowmobile trails, skydiving, white water river rafting, great food and drinks, etc. Fast wifi, off street parking, dogs allowed. 2 full bathrooms, clean and updated.

Lots of sleeping options

Nice setup. Everything was there that we needed. No a/c in two bedrooms though, which was difficult on sleeping. Easy to get into, and great communication up front. Wonderful stay!

The house had some minor flaws, but fit our needs nicely. It was a quiet street both in terms of traffic and neighbors. As for cleanliness, some red mold on shower curtain liner upstairs bath and front stoop had a pile of leaves. The listing was confusing regarding if a laundry washer and dryer on-site. One of the twin beds on first floor had a feel of an air matress... not comfortable and shifted while sleeping.

Great house

My family stayed here over the weekend for our annual white water trip on the Penobscot. The property was as described and had plenty of room to hang out and sleep. Great location and close to our check in for rafting. The hosts were super communicative and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!
