“We had a great stay here. The area might feel a bit rough however its quite quiet and we felt very safe even at 1pm in the morning. Its so easy to get to the city centre by train or walk.
Just a suggestion, to add an iron as there are some fancy restaurants people may feel the need to dress up for.

“One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever walked into, the lobby and bar area was gorgeous and a great place for a nightcap as the day winds down. We were greeted by the staff upon check-in, and they were so friendly and took the time to show us the spots to hit around Bilbao. From there, each experience we had with the staff was splendid, helpful in reserving a taxi for an early morning flight, getting us wine at the bar, etc. Easily the most helpful and friendly staff I've experienced at a……
“Bad service and accommodation for the price!
For a new hotel the room is extremely badly designed. No socket for the kettle, constant buzzing sound from the electric box and poor drainage in the shower leading to a bad smell. Cleaning is also bad. Used toothpick found in the sink area and left there for four days. Mugs left unwashed. Coffee/amenities in the room not topped up.
Breakfast is not worth the money and runs out of food at least an hour before breakfast is due to finish, staff very……
“La estancia fue muy buena, todo muy limpio, las zonas comunes son confortables, está un poco alejado y los buses pasan cada hora, zona muy tranquila, en la noche se escuchan los ruidos de las demas habitaciones, esto por si eres de sueño ligero, por lo demas todo estuvo perfecto. ”
“We are half way through a full week's stay in this hotel and we almost feel "blessed" to have found it at all.
Been traveling the perimeter of Spain on a months long odyssey and by a wide margin this is the best hotel we have experienced thus far with only one more stay remaining.
The room is incredible with our own very spacious exterior covered deck/patio space. The restaurant within the hotel is not only reasonable for prices but the quality is very, very good.
Didn't know this until a few……
“The location is perfect for a day tour at Bilbao. Right next to the Guggenheim Museum within walking distance to the old city, other tourist spots and nice restaurants.”
“Wonderful hotel on the promenade. The staff is friendly and efficient. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both meals were very good. The restaurant/bar is popular with locals and that’s always a good sign. ”
"A disappointing experience - written by my husband who was the one who stays at this hotel
Spent a night in the Artist Gran hotel of Arts on my way back from the Camino de Santiago. I do not know if it was because of my backpack and casual pilgrim dressing but from the start, the service was a bit arrogant. I booked a room with queen size bed (indicating preference on high floor), but was given a DOUBLE bed for 3rd floor. As for the view, Smart Inner View means facing the window of your neighbor (welcome back to the dormitory in the Albergue!). An experience certainly not to be repeated. Get yourself an hotel with better service. You deserve better!"

Breakfast is not worth the money and runs out of food at least an hour before breakfast is due to finish, staff very lazy and don’t attempt to top up the food or clear plates from tables (whilst eating food in front of guests). Same level of poor service was seen in the rooftop bar, with glasses all over near the pool. All staff need a significant amount of training to be at an acceptable standard. "
