“Fabulous place in a lovely location. We had a brilliant stay and the hotel could not do enough to help us. They allowed us to check out a couple of hours later as we had struggled to get transport back from Bilbao, they also made us packed lunch (for a small fee) on departure even though the restaurant was closed. “Bad service and accommodation for the price!
For a new hotel the room is extremely badly designed. No socket for the kettle, constant buzzing sound from the electric box and poor drainage in the shower leading to a bad smell. Cleaning is also bad. Used toothpick found in the sink area and left there for four days. Mugs left unwashed. Coffee/amenities in the room not topped up.
Breakfast is not worth the money and runs out of food at least an hour before breakfast is due to finish, staff very……

“Perfect Apartment in the old City of Bilbao. Very clean and for a family of four perfect with 3 beds. Your are staying in the pedestrian area and have a nice view from your window to the buzzeling crowed. Only small disadvantage is the way to the parking, as we had Four big luggages. Would stay definately again, as everything was very digital and per WhatsApp, which made it easy. Bilbao as City was gar better and exiting as expected.”

"A disappointing experience - written by my husband who was the one who stays at this hotel
Spent a night in the Artist Gran hotel of Arts on my way back from the Camino de Santiago. I do not know if it was because of my backpack and casual pilgrim dressing but from the start, the service was a bit arrogant. I booked a room with queen size bed (indicating preference on high floor), but was given a DOUBLE bed for 3rd floor. As for the view, Smart Inner View means facing the window of your neighbor (welcome back to the dormitory in the Albergue!). An experience certainly not to be repeated. Get yourself an hotel with better service. You deserve better!"
