“An absolutely incredible place to stay, with gorgeous river views and even a lake. We stayed in a barrel which was so comfortable, I really did not want to get out of bed! The owner and others on the farm are kind, warming and helpful, and are clearly working hard to build an amazing space. I just wish I could have stayed longer!”

“The house is beautifully clean and extremely well equipped. Plenty of toys and games to keep children busy.Although we didnt use them, every type of beach accessories were available for our use. Great location, enjoyed the walk across the Burrows to the beach. Great fish n chips from the Atlantic Bay. Lots of interesting places to visit without travelling too far.”

“We had a long weekend in Starling cottage. It was peaceful, quaint, comfortable and clean. It was a good base to explore the local area and visit our friends in Neath. I would definitely return. ”

“Delightful welcome, including allowing us to order dinner from their restaurant at closing time. Great shower, comfortable bed, spacious living room, best kitchen appliances and calming view.”

“I booked online and then researched the Holiday Park after (slightly backwards way of doing it) but I’m glad I didn’t take all the reviews too seriously, I’ve stayed in far worse hotels than this. Obviously late December is definitely not peak season either but still enough people about. The kids loved the pool and there was an on duty life guard and cafe. Our apartment was nice too. If I could give 1 bit of feedback it’s that the changing room for the pool is an open 1 room which the boys……

“Loved our stay, peaceful and quiet. The food in the mill was 10/10. Only one shop locally but its quite expensive so od suggest buying before you go, also no take aways or Uber etc.”
