“Very cozy log cabin in a beautiful area of NY. We had a great time relaxing and visiting The Baseball Hall of fame in Cooperstown. Peter was great at communicating with us. My only suggestion would be to grocery shop before you get there. There are some well equipped gas stations that carry food about 10 minutes away but the closest grocery store is 25-30 minutes. If we are ever in the area, we would love to stay here again! ”

“Extremely clean, host was very quick to reply to my questions and even started a campfire for us. My husband fished while I enjoyed the wine we were left by the host. The “outdoor shower was amazing and the restroom was very clean. They thought of so many little things to help make our overnight comfortable …and the Golf course restaurant was outstanding- laid back atmosphere and you can wear shirts and t shirt. On our list of favorites now. ”

“PHENOMENAL!!!! This was our first trip together!! Me and my fiancé stayed here from Monday evening until Wednesday morning. The hosts are very reliable and always available in a timely manner for any questions or concerns we had. very thoughtful setup from the kitchen utensils/dishware, laundry detergent and surprisingly bug sprays and PLENTY of snacks. “Love the quaint appeal of the house. Met some neighbors very friendly. Visited a shop near there very unique. Every thing was near by went for train ride A boat tour on a lake in Cooperstown Howes Caverns and other places. My friends and I really enjoyed it we are thinking of coming back in the future. “It was a great spot. Quiet and peaceful. There is a short walk from parking to the site, but there’s a wagon to help haul stuff in and out. We heard frogs, owls, fox and coyote. Such beautiful sounds of nature. It rained A LOT during our stay and the tent did not leak at all. It stayed totally dry. The shower and outhouse were close enough that it wasn’t far during the night to go. The tent had cots (we used our blow up mattresses) they seemed comfy when we laid on them. The tent was a good……

“The cabin was secluded and quiet, lovely location, and a beautiful sunroom. We were two adults and a baby, and a cat. It was clean and well stocked with linens and utensils. Our baby did well as it was kid friendly. Small but compact and everything was in good working order. WiFi was good. It was close to Mine Kill State Park. We enjoyed our stay very much.
