I selected this hotel (a bit further from the Airport than even cheaper ones) because they explicitly stated that they had an airport shuttle. I booked the shuttle for 7AM. I had to rebook it upon checkin. When I checked out, the shuttle was full and the hotel said: sorry, first come first serve. I would have liked it to be stated when I booked it (twice). I was really upset. I didn't miss my flight but had to take an Uber with another person in the same situation. Other than that, it is a cheap place (= good and bad at the same time). Breakfast convenient but seemingly low-cost food (probably to be avoided if you're into organic etc.). Checkin personel was very helpful and friendly, things went south in the morning with the shuttle problem.

This comfort inn specifically was awful. There were spiders in the halls and room. The room was filthy with dirt and stains, including blood in the bathroom. When reaching out to the front desk for assistance, we were told to wait until 9am the next morning to speak to a manager. Once in contact with the manager, there was no assistance given. Deeming the unsanitary space acceptable. The manager specifically was awful with customer service, no returning calls, and when speaking to her directly hanging up. I would never recommend this hotel, save yourself the hassle and disgust.

This is an example of a hotel that’s been updated, but poorly. Showing its wear and tear, rooms are worse than hotel lobby. Smoking allowed in this hotel. Our entire floor reaked like smoke or marajuana consistently. Our room not so much which we were glad about. Smell was also in stairwell, elevator, lobby. Hallways to rooms were consistently full of garbage that people were putting outside instead of using their room garbages. Didn’t seem like anyone was cleaning this up as it stayed there for the two days we were at the hotel. Breakfast was mediocre. Parking was good and in a good location to mall of America.

I have stayed at many hotels in Bloomington, Minnesota in preparation for airline trips and my most recent stay at Comfort Inn was a tremendous disappointment. The check-in staff were rude. There were no luggage carts, at any point in my stay, even though the staff said they could be found by the exit doors. I looked 10 times, at multiple doors, and never found one. The shower was in disrepair. The paint was chipping and cracked throughout the room. The entire building smelled like stale cigarette smoke and the DOWN elevator button was completely missing on the second floor. This hotel is a train wreck and was a terrible way to start my trip. NEVER AGAIN.

Room was old/dated and dirty. Floor had sticky substance on carpeting and nightstand on top and in top drawer. Window would not open. Made me a little nervous considering property does not have sprinkler fire system. Also arrived at hotel around 2am, took over an hour to check in. No cleaning service the entire stay--Friday morning 3am - Monday/check out.

When we arrived there was no one at the front desk. After 15 minutes there was still no one at the front desk. We started calling out loudly and finally a man came out. He did not take my ID nor a copy of my credit card. Said it was all in their computer. First time we've ever stayed there and had supplied NONE of that. We enjoyed our stay, the beds are very comfortable and rooms are big, the pool room is beautiful with plants and tables and windows, pool is well kept. There is an outside area for hanging out with patio lights which we really enjoyed! Theres badminton and bbqs too, plus its very close to mall of america and walmart which is great! Breakfast had many options but no bacon, only sausage. Negatives were that its slightly older and may need a bit of tlc, walls are thin so we could hear a baby crying across the hall, they also do not have a fan in the bathroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay and ate at outback steakhouse twice.....its excellent! The airport shuttle is also a helpful touch.

The property adjoins outback steakhouse. There was live music that night that went late and our room was right next to the racket. We little sleep and an early flight the next morning. This is an OLD facility the still wreaks of old cigarette smoke. Terrible mattress. First and last time that I will stay there. I would not recommend this place to anyone I know.
