Avoid at all costs! You have to be let in through a bolted door which says a lot about the neighborhood. Lots of activity at night. Very suspicious “headboard” design behind bed that looks exactly like a two way mirror. I can’t confirm this is the case but be wary. Walls are paper thin so neighbor’s tv feels like it’s in your room. Tv is smaller and pixelated.
Worst of all, in the morning I saw a big bug crawling across counter. Caught it and thought it was gross but I can be understanding. But then, I saw a tiny one in my bed, so now I have to do bedbug protocols before going into my home.
Overall it’s not worth saving the few dollars. Usually I have good luck with Microtels but this one is an exception. As a lone traveling woman I did not feel safe at this establishment.
Only pros were that the lobby seemed updated (nice enough at least) and front desk clerk was very friendly.
