“Our group likes weekday fall trips once school is in session. We chose Bolger Lake, just a stones throw from Minocqua. Beautiful home and property. The sauna was a pleasant surprise, and several ways to enjoy the lakeside setting. Recommend to adults and families. Close to everything Minocqua has to offer.”

“The Timberwolf is beautiful! I haven’t camped in 15 years and the accommodations made it a great experience. Location is perfect for easy access to many area lakes for fishing. “All kind of birds singing. Very peaceful. The owner was kind enough to spray for mosquitoes which helped slot. Tree branches, brush & logs in water made kayak/ rowboat access very difficult.”

“The description and the pictures are very misleading. We drove up walked in and left immediately! THERE IS NO A/C . When you stay in a home especially when it is 95 degrees outside it becomes a sauna. The entire place is so small. I could touch both walls standing in the middle of the room. The pictures of the lake are very misleading. its' a freaking swamp. Also there "boat" they offer was filled with water half sunk into the lank and covered in pond scum. Also not to mention you are one block……

“Great overall. Cabin was clean and cozy but a little heavy with furniture to navigate around. No toliet so thank gooodness I packed some and left a couple rola for the next guests. I’m convinced the giant tadpoles ate all the fish…not even a nibble. The hill going up to the cabin can be tough for someone with health issues. Big rocks along the shoreline makes it dificult to get in the water. Overall, it was a great stay with a nicely secluded can in the woods. My favorite part was the……
