“Room was very clean. We had an issue with the motorized blinds that wouldn’t close. The receptionist took care of it immediately.”

Three complaints: 1) Moldy smell in room 2) Breakfast was definitely “lacking”: No scrambled eggs upon arrival; we were there 30 minutes, never refilled (there had been a large contingent of linemen in the hotel overnight, probably for a mutual aid “storm response”. Nevertheless, without question, the innkeepers / owners had a responsibility to address this obvious increased demand on services by bringing in more workers - there was ONE person……

“Many Super 8's have laundry facilities and this one did not have one onsite BUT they did have an elevator which was great when bringing our things in and packing up to leave.”

“Pros: The room itself is very clean and colorful. The A/C was icy cold. It was quiet. Dowtown is walkable and 5 blocks awaywith really good restuarants with outdoor closed-pedestrian street seating. Convenient to the quaint dowtown area. Cons: The exterior of the hotel is aged and gives the impression that the rooms would be likewise but fortunately the rooms are brighly colorful and clean. The people walking int he immediate area can seem suspect......as in a bit "rough" looking or "off" due……

“The room was clean and tidy. Standard provisions including free Wi-Fi are available. Staff was helpful although we arrived late in the evening. The overall experience of this stay was good. I recommend this motel if you plan to visit Shenandoah National Park.”
