Location was great, close to some amazing restaurants and the beach. When we first arrived, check-in was easy. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was on the ground floor and I instantly noticed the floor wasn’t vacuumed well. There was a pen, dirt, some hair on the floor and the bed linens didn’t feel as though they were clean. We accepted it, as this was a cheaper hotel and didn’t expect a 5 star stay. However, the bathroom ceiling had what looked to be mold above the tub and had a leak, which seemed to be dripping faster by the minute. We told the front desk staff and they fortunately had one room left they were able to move us to straight away, which we really appreciated. The second room was much cleaner, the linens felt clean and the floor was better. Although the floor wasn’t 100% clean still, I would recommend they invest in a stronger vacuum. We slept very well, minimal noise (except from the mini fridge), the bed was very comfy. Free continental breakfast was good, again don’t expect 5 star quality food but for the price, it was good and a great way to start our day. Overall, we would probably stay again for the price, location and breakfast.

Water takes a long long time to heat up, it was clean, air worked really good. the fire alarm did go off in the middle of the night for no reason and i was on the 2nd floor and it was super loud on the 3rd floor a lot of banging but overall i would say a 6/10. it’s good for a couple nights of stay.

This is an older hotel. Rooms needed painted. Dloora in the room were dirty. Our AC was set on 60 when we got to our room, and it wasn’t hot outside. Rain and the mid 70s, absolutely no reason for it to be on 60. Breakfast was mid. Really wasn’t impressed with this Comfort Inn. The one in Destin is much newer and lots nicer.
