“We stayed in the Kauri chalet and really liked it. The view is great. The connecting room, Rata’s view is even better, but that room is much smaller. If you are a bigger group, booking these two rooms together will be perfect. We woke up to the birdsongs and had a peaceful breakfast on the balcony. The stairs bring the charm to the place and we did not mind the extra steps. Owner/staff are very friendly. PAKnSAVE is only 6 minutes drive away.”

“We loved our stay at Riversong Retreat. The house and grounds are stunning and it was the perfect spot to stay for a hike up to the Pinnicals. “We had a wonderful stay. Wendy and Alan were friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed, right down to a rental car when we had trouble getting one. Wendy took us into Auckland to make sure everything went smoothly for us. Our VRBO was outstanding and lovely. Their place was absolutely beautiful. If we ever go back we will definitely book there for another stay. We loved the swimming pool as well, so relaxing.”
