Cute Downtown Apartment, Walk to University, Shops & More!

This cute apartment is centrally located 1 block from Missoula's river-front trails, 3 blocks from downtown & the University of Montana campus, convenient to the I-90 interstate exchange, and within an easy walk to Missoula's best coffee shops, restaurants, theaters, and music venues.

We like that we don't have to drive to hike - our neighborhood is at the confluence of the North Hills, Clark Fork River, Crazy Canyon, Mount Sentinel, and Mount Jumbo trail systems - or to fish - we're just off the confluence of Rattlesnake Creek and the Clark Fork River where the native cutthroat congregate. We are an easy walk over either of the two pedestrian footbridges, a short river stroll to happy hour or concerts at the Top Hat & Wilma, and a (too!) close for a cone of ice cream at either Big Dipper or Sweet Peaks. This location also boasts spectacular views of Mount Jumbo, Mount Sentinel, and the Hellgate Canyon.

This apartment is part of a duplex - we live upstairs and are available for advice about what to do and where to go. If you decide to book this property, you will enter through the main door that leads to a small entry way. Our door is on the left and yours is on the right. This keeps it easy should you have any questions or concerns.

Great spot for 1-2 exploring Missoula

I was in Missoula for a week of work, skiing at Seeley Lake (highly recommended), and exploring town. I really enjoyed my stay, clean apartment with plenty of room for 1-2. Fantastic bakery around the corner (Grist). It is located near an active train yard, but seemed part of the western charm.

Property is nice, clean and well appointed. However, property is advertised as a duplex which I assumed meant side by side living quarters. Nope, host is upstairs with a rambunctious child that partied well into the evening. I also did not expect heavy feet at 6am in the morning.

The Brookers' cute apartment is situated just outside of the main downtown area in a relaxing neighborhood. Just about anything you need is within a short walk - UM, parks, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, shops, etc. It's a refreshing place to leave the car behind for a few days. The apartment is clean, well appointed and kept, and also the perfect size and location for a short stay to experience Missoula. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Tasteful, efficient apartment

This apartment is a well planned efficiency apartment. The cozy bed is comfortable. We appreciated the luggage racks. The location was perfect for our stay in Missoula and right around the corner from our favorite, Black Roast Coffee.

Great Location

This adorable, cozy little apartment was perfect for my adult daughter and I to stay in for a long weekend exploring Missoula! Everything we needed was within walking distance! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was nicely furnished. I really appreciated the "No shoes in the house" request, because it undoubtedly made the apartment cleaner. We will definitely stay here again if the need arises.

Perfect location & cute space!

This place was perfect for us. We were in town for the Missoula half marathon and needed quick access to the college where the 4am shuttle was leaving from - this was just 5 min away. The duplex is super cute, clean, and well furnished. We’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in town!

We loved this place! The set up was perfect for us. It is clean, the location great and the host (Meg) was very accommodating, answered our questions quickly. We were in town for the 5k run. We were 5 minutes away from the start 😊 We hope to stay again in the future.

Your home away from home

Great place, nice and clean. Very basic which o liked. My cousin got married and spending time with family so I didn’t stay there a whole lot. Last day I went to clack coffee company which is really close to property nice walk towards downtown. A really cool farmers market Saturday morning which I enjoyed a lot. No complaints. I have an Apple TV and my house so all the appliances I was used to.

Cute but needed more.

Every traveler has bags and coats. We shouldn't have to search for a place to put our bags off the floor. We all have bathroom stuff, couldn't all fit on back of toilet no where to put but on the floor. Shower mat kind of slippery. Towel had stain. Living room chairs were horribly uncomfortable. Couch was good but couldn't get the tv working well. Didn't care for dead animal motif. Thank you for the beer by the way:) You might try pretending your a traveler. Come in carrying heavy bags, needing a comfy place to sit. Slept good, wind was exciting, train sounds were comforting.

Cute Missoula Apt.

This property was nothing short of amazing. It was clean, well kept, provided everything we needed. It was perfect walking distance from the University. Access and instructions were easy to follow. The bed was so comfortable and a sound machine/ear plugs were provided which was so thoughtful! It was a busy weekend in Missoula but we did not have any issues with parking. So cute and cozy, we will definitely be using this place again in the future!

Highly Recommend ~ Perfect Place & Location

The Jefferson House was the perfect place and the best location just for me! It was quaint, cozy, clean and convenient for my first trip to Montana and my first VRBO! I choose this place because I was doing the Missoula Half-Marathon, I was traveling solo and everything was close and walkable (i.e, restaurants, race start/finish, coffee, etc.) and the airport was only about 12 mins away. I had no issues with the house and barely used anything that was available because I stayed out most of the time. The guidelines and information provided for the house were on point and I appreciated them. It's important to me whether or staying in a hotel or someone's home to abide by their rules, keep your surroundings tidy and be a good guest. The owner Megan stayed in contact with me and answered any questions I had, but I wish I had more time to chat with her because she was truly the sweetest person. Thank you for allowing me to stay at the beautiful Jefferson House! If you are looking for the perfect location for a trip to Missoula, I highly recommended the Jefferson House.
