“The location is generally in the middle of nowhere. But oddly enough, my friend and I came down to visit some friends we know who live in Locust Grove. It was a great trip. House was fantastic and the location was perfect right on the water. No issues with check-in. Great hosts. Great location and place.”

“Wonderful dock for boats, and we had great waterskiing at the north end of the lake. Incredibly responsive hosts. Home was beautiful and had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our whole large group. Would stay there again!!!”

“We were in this home for a graduation and were surprised to see the cottage detached and just as lovely as the rest of the house. The backyard area is very serene, the house has everything anyone needed. Very lovely home, easy to get to and the communication was on point! Can’t wait to stay here again!”

“I have previously stayed at this location when it was operated as a bed and breakfast, this time it is only a lodging spot with complimentary drinks which was conveyed in the listing. The home is lovely and easily located in Orange, with quick access to many historical areas. While the Fenton is listed as having a bathroom, which it does, it is a tiny water closet at best. There is no standard size mirror or sink, the shower is also quite small. Overall, our stay was fine, but I did not like the……

“SPACIOUS AND COZY There were 2 king size beds, 4 sets of bunk beds, and a very comfy extra large couch. LOCATION Beautiful area. Lots of horse and cows within eye sight of the house. Incredible starlight night sky. Check-in went smooth, kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the place was clean. Lots of small touches that the host put into providing an amazing experience for us. ”

“We had a wedding at a local winery and this was the perfect venue for our group. Had a great time. The host was incredibly accommodating and was flexible with check in so we could have time to get ready. Only thing is the ladies wished there was a full length mirror for getting ready. “Perfect location and space for a long weekend getaway! Visiting the area for an event at UVA, but decided to stay outside of the city to better explore the area. This was a perfect spot and amazing host to help us with dinner and recreation recommendations… so good!!! The “suite” was very private and everything we needed.
