“The location is very close to main street, the second floor apartment was very well stocked with thoughful items. The Easter decorations were very well done, we had a wonderful time. Thank you!”

“The views are stunning! Love the idea of a converted container. Great space! It rained for a majority of our trip so the no-wifi was rough. We had a hot spot with us but connection was spotty. The rain generated A LOT of mud which made things a little messy since we had to go out a lot to walk our pup but host was responsive with ways we could try to manage the mess. Would love to visit again in the summer as having the river right there was really cool!”

“The house was nicely decorated for Christmas including a Christmas tree. I had a large family arriving at different days during the week. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a bathroom in the downstairs area. I would definitely stay there again!”

“A group of 12 HS friends (couples) from Missouri and Northern KY spent 4 days at Simmstown Manor enjoying bourbon tastings, horse racing at Keeneland and the culinary cuisine of Chef Gwyn. This was the perfect location for all of the activities and the Manor, situated on acres of beautiful rolling bluegrass hills with frolicking horses and gorgeous scenery, could not have been a more fitting setting. “Had a great time at the house! We were in town for the Bourbon trail and Keeneland. The house was perfect for our group of 8 and remote enough that we got a great bang for our buck while still being able to get a bus for the bourbon trail. Plenty of room for people to sleep and the game room was really cool. The Captain’s quarters (master bedroom) was amazing! I’d definitely stay again. ”

“Overall a wonderful place to stay! The hosts went above and beyond with little touches that made all the difference- extra towels, blankets and throws available, everything to make coffee, a lot of kitchen necessities, etc. The place was very clean especially for being pet friendly. The surrounding neighborhood was nice and the closeness to downtown was convenient. The primary bed was large, but uncomfortable and very squeaky due to being an antique style bed frame.
