“There is not much going on in Fermoy, but it is possible to drive to some major attractions such as the national park if you don’t mind a bit of a drive. The house is very tastefully decorated and well equipped, but it is very small and the beds are listed as queens. If you are coming from America, please note this means full. Not a lot of room for suitcases, but the listing clearly stated how small it was. Overall acute little place, but not really in a destination spot.”

“Couldn't have dreamt up a more perfect place to come "home" to each day after adventuring around Ireland. We loved the central location that gave us easy access to Killarney, Waterford, Rock of Cashel, and many other adventures. The views are breathtaking! Walks up the lane were refreshing.We had perfect amount of space for 6 (easily could accommodate 2 more). We enjoyed sitting around the table together at the end of the day, playing games (provided) and talking. Cottage is decorated……

“Heureusement que le jardinier était présent au moment de notre arrivée pour trouver la boîte à clés et nous dire que le portail ne fonctionnait pas. Propreté laissant à désirer. Pas de chauffage. Chasse d'eau compliquée. Une seule douche utilisable. Contrairement à ce que laissent espérer les photos, c'est une vieille maison . Par contre, le parc est magnifique.”

“We loved this home for the moments we saw it online. Then when we met David, he was very helpful with everything in the home, but also had maps out for Ireland. My family did get sick during our visit and David was on it! I followed him i to town to get medicine for my son and husband. David checked in several times to make sure we were ok, and if we needed a doctor. Thankfully we didnt but having the owners close by meant that we could reach out if we needed anything. “Insgesamt hinterließ die Unterkunft mit ihrer schönen und ruhigen Lage einen zufriedenstellenden Eindruck. Abstriche gab es lediglich in der vorhergegangenen Kommunikation mit der Agentur, welche über diese Seite schlicht komplett ignoriert worden ist. Ebenfalls als negativ ist noch der Warmwasserbehälter zu verzeichnen, welcher über dem Bett thronte. Dieser wird leider mit dem Nachbarhaus geteilt und erzeugt eine intensive Geräuschkulisse, sofern eine Dusche benutzt wird. Dazu gesellen sich……
