“Bon. Heureusement que cet hôte a des amis très sympathiques pour nous héberger à sa place, car sinon ce n'était juste pas possible. Nous avons attendu 2 heures avant l'arrivée de l'hôte, qui ne répondait pas aux messages que nous lui avons laissé sur Abritel. On pourrait se dire qu'après toutes ces galères, ça serait bon. Et bien non! Car cet hôte n'a pas été capable de nous donner le logement pour lequel nous avions payé, car je cite: "Il y a eu un problème de surbooking avec un autre site……

“After arriving at the villa, I was met by the host, who was welcoming and very courteous. The villa was spotless internally. The decor was very tired and rustic. The fridge was leaking and old. The garden, to say the least, was in an awful state. There were piles of wood everywhere, and a broken trampoline. Pallets and heaps of dead foliage were not only all over the grounds, but there was a disused fountain that was being used as a dumping pit. When questioned about the advertised HOT TUB and……

“We stayed as a family of 5 adults in August 2023 at Villa Timpazza - it is a great place. Set in large grounds, close (10 mins drive) to several shops, restaurants and towns such as Ispica and Modica, it is a great and luxurious place to stay in Sicily. The villa itself is on one level - 4 lovely bedrooms, and high spec bathrooms. Air conditioning throughout. There are several outside areas (balcony, breakfast area, garden room), but the star of the show is the pool area as you'll see on the……

“Lovely house in the centre of Modica. Equiped with alle you need. Great view from the terrace. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. House lies in quiet street. Becuase the house lies somewhat higher than the street, some stairs are to be walked up. Even though it is quite busy on the streets, we could find a free parking place every day. Modica is also a great starting point for trips. e.g. Ragusa, Noto, Donnafugata.”

“Lovely villa, very spacious and exceptionally clean. Pool area is great and a really nice pool. Orchard with fruit you can pick. Villa is split into three separate buildings, one with a double bedroom, downstairs bathroom and kitchen, another with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms downstairs and the third is attached to the lounge and kitchen has one double bedroom with a bathroom. A car is essential. You do have to take your own rubbish to a rubbish drop off which is a short drive away.……

“Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima vacanza, la casa si trova in una zona molto tranquilla col mare a pochi metri, ma anche in posizione strategica per visitare le più belle località della Val di Noto. L'alloggio è curato e accogliente, dotato di uno splendido e ampio terrazzo, e i proprietari sono persone davvero squisite. Consigliatissimo.”

“We enjoyed a relaxing week at Atem Villa. A wonderful good sized swimming pool, a really nice garden too. The amenities are outstanding, with great views. Also, we enjoyed trips to Modica and Ragusa where there are nice choices of places to eat and great evening atmosphere. Hosts were thoughtful. Everything was curated perfectly.”
