“The Bothy was a lovely place for a break away. Quiet but close to Moffat and beautiful walks all around. Karen was a wonderful host along with her dogs Suzy and Radley. Communication was quick and helpful. We loved the wood burning fire in the evenings. Thank you Karen for letting us enjoy The Bothy. Will definately be back in the future.”

“Needed a good clean and some serious maintenance - especially the bathroom floor. Few lights not working control for oven broken also . Lovely hottub and surroundings. ”

“We arrived late so it was dark. When we woke up Saturday morning the views were sensational. The campsite has six glamping pods which are well spaced so you do not feel on top of each other. Right off the main Moffat to Selkirk road but far enough back you do not hear a thing. Definitely recommend and will visit again.”

“The apartment was exactly as depicted on the website. It was very comfortable and cozy. The perfect size for my stay. The kitchen had every gadget you could possibly want or need, and everything was clean, well organized and accessible. The bed was comfortable and the pillows perfect! The host was very helpful and accommodating. ”

“We all absolutely no complaints on our stay, the properly was cleaned for our arrival and we even had a cake with some wine left for our arrival. I only gave 4 stars for accuracy of online listing due to the maps location on the posting did not match where the location actually was and we got a lil lost but a quick call with the host and we found it. ”

“Amazing place to rest our bones while visiting the area! So comfortable and clean and beautifully appointed set in a park like setting with access to the garden. Wish every host was as gracious! Very near walking trails and fishing streams.”

“Absolutely a beautiful place to stay with a large group. This enormous facility comes with huge bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. It is so nice to sleep in rooms that feel sound proof. Having a washer and dryer was very helpful, especially at the end of our long trip through Europe.”
