“Quinta de Recião has numerous properties. This review is for the one-bedroom cottage (Casa do Moinho - the Mill House) The Mill House is a beautiful property, hosted by beautiful people. The main room has kitchen, table, lounge, small TV and a fire. The separate bedroom has two single beds with an adjoining bathroom. The cottage sits right on the edge of the Rio Varosa (Varosa River) and the sound of running water is peaceful and calming. There is the option to have a home cooked meal……

We had only three days there in this large house surrounded by nature on our road trip through Portugal and Galicia, but next time, we will try to stay longer, because there is so much to discover there. The ladies that took care of the breakfast and cleaning were wonderful and communication with Marcus was very easy. The breakfasts were delicious. The swimming pool and the outdoor area around it were perfect and we had a weeklong family party. Ricardo and Paula are a couple that operate a restaurant in Teixeira, a short drive from Casa do Monte. They provided a delicious dinner……
