“We stayed two nights and wished we’d stayed longer. A stunning chateau in amazing grounds. Quiet, peaceful and spacious. Not much in terms of obtaining drinks, there’s an honesty bar, but very little choice although they don’t mind you bringing your own. The staff are very helpful and friendly, they make this place feel as lovely as it is. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding. Mostly continental but eggs and sausage also supplied. Plenty of fruit, delicious yoghurt and home made……

“The property is in an idyllic village on the banks of the River Seine. Chateau La Roche Guyon is opposite the hotel. The hotel is a charming old building but very comfortable. The food is delicious and the staff are lovely ”

“Abbiamo soggiornato una notte. La proprietaria è stata gentilissima, ci ha offerto la stanza nel cottage allo stesso prezzo perché la nostra aveva una scala ripida per accedervi e con una neonata non ce la sentivamo. Colazione fantastica, tutto local e di qualità! Anche qui massima flessibilità, nonostante siamo arrivati dopo l’orario della colazione, non hanno avuto problemi a servirci. Il posto è incantevole”

“Wir durften 2 Stunden vor Check-in unser Zimmer beziehen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer im Nebenhaus war gross und mit einem bequemen Bett ausgestattet. Das Gebäude mit einer geräumigen, gut bestückten Küche und netter Terrasse hatten wir für uns alleine. Wir haben den angenehmen Aufenthalt genossen und würden ein nächstes Mal gerne wieder hier übernachten.”

“The hotel was located right across the street from the station so it was very convenient as we traveled in and out of Rouen by train. The staff was very helpful and showed us how to get to the main attractions. We were upgraded to a larger room and it was great. There was a kettle and free tea bags and instant coffee were provided. Will definitely stay there again next time. ”
