“Rental and suite were very nice. They did a great job renovating the mercantile. Only downside was the area was pretty rundown. It was right on the katy trail so if you bike, it would be awesome. Price was a lot cheaper than in Hermann too.”

“I visited for a home town visit and 3 of my high school stayed for the weekend. All of us were thrilled with this property and continued to rave about how nice it was! The little treasures hidden throughout were so fun! There aren’t a lot of extra things in JC so it’s nice to stay in a place that tries to have everything covered. “This is a nice place to stay. It is right there by downtown and provides walking access to many shops, breweries and distilleries.It was clean and comfortable. We only had a couple of hiccups but they were resolved. Be sure to check out the book with instructions for the heat. We were there on a cold weekend and were confused at how to operate the heat as it was marked a/c only. Restaurant opened at 7am on Sunday as stated on door entrance...but large poster in hotel lobby states 6am. When fact was mentioned to staff they answered, "yes, it needs to be updated." We had paid for 2 breakfast meals expecting the 6am opening. As a result my husband had to miss his meal as he had to leave for an early meeting. Disappointing. ”
