“The place was great, very clean, everything it said it would have. No issues getting in. Only complaint is that the door into the main place from the hallway is shared and paper thin. It sits about a half an inch off the floor so lights, voices, everything filters in from the hallway. That being said, there weren't a lot of times that people went in and out, so in the end it doesn't affect you much. ”

“Jim and Jenna were wonderful hosts and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay a memorable one. The girls and I had a wonderful time kayaking on the lake. The bach was nice and central to all of the activities we were doing over the weekend and was a lovely home away from. We really enjoyed our stay and are look forward to more in the future. “It was as described in listing. Maryanne and Karl were very sweet and helpful. The mattress needs to be replaced as it left me very sore in the morning. A lot of tossing and turning too. Otherwise a good location. ”

“We had a bit of a hiccup on our arrival. We contacted host whom replied quickly and solved the problem immediately. We loved our stay near Lake Okareka. We travelled into Rotarua to enjoy hot springs and mud baths. Go to Redwood Butchery in Rotarua - delicious lamb cutlets and scotch fillet!!! The bath was delightful on the deck - we are used to starry skies but this was the most stars ive ever seen. Enjoyed listening to the birds, watching the night sky - shooting stars and moving satellite……

“This was a truly lovely apartment, perfect for a couple, with everything we needed for a four-night stay. Great location - on the lake, not far from town, and not far from the wedding venue where we were attending a family wedding. Very quiet but tons of bird activity thanks to the sanctuary right next door. It was perfect to have a washer to do a bit of laundry and a toaster oven / air fryer for making breakfast. Thanks so much! ”

“We had a wonderful time sitting outside watching the birds, People, fishermen and dogs. Such a beautiful location with a walkway around the lake that you could easier walk to the small downtown. Grocery, drugstore, restaurants were within walking distance. Everyone was friendly. The kitchen was stocked for breakfast and had everything you would need to cook. It was great to be able to wash your clothes and put the drying rack outside. Close to so many things that it was the perfect place……

“Perfect location! Very responsive hosts! All you need to have fun and be cozy in Rotorua!! We had 4 adults and had plenty of room. Stay here, you won’t be disappointed! ”

“We had three adults and were very comfortable. Short walk to main shopping area. Quiet location at night. Sliding door was a little temperamental and sides steps posed a challenge with large baggage but otherwise a lovely apartment. ”
