“Martin was the perfect host. From his first message and throughout our stay he kept us fully informed and gave us excellent suggestions for our time there. The property is in a quiet area of Gothenburg close to buses and trams, but a short walk uphill from the bus stop is required. Perfectly do-able for most people. Bear in mind that only the central city is flat. Gothenburg is surrounded by hills. We were allowed full use of the washing machine and drying room and the kitchen area was perfect……

“La Mare resort staff were friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The boat house was clean and comfortable and in great condition and the area was peaceful. The resort was however very far away from any public transportation and we had to take an Uber into the city and sights. The Ubers were affordable but the cost did add up.”
