“I recently booked a Superior Double Room with Balcony at Chateau Eza Hotel through Expedia, expecting to enjoy the beautiful sea and mountain views as shown in the hotel's official photos and Expedia’s listing. Based on these images, I was willing to pay EUR 590.40 per night for this experience. However, upon checking into my room, I was extremely disappointed to find that at least six large sun umbrellas were tightly positioned together, completely blocking the view from the balcony. “There was very limited staff. Also no easy way for us to get our bags to the room. No refrigerator in the room although they did provide an electric cooler upon request. It seems there was an extra charge for items such as the pool towels. The pool was gorgeous. The area turned out to be good for neighborhood walks and restaurants. Also public transportation. ”
