“We are all over 70 so it was easy to get into. We all loved the screened porch. Fishing wasn't great from the dock but that was ok. Would recommend it to others.”

“Awesome but... The cabin, location, hosts, booking etc., were all phenomenal, this was our second time staying at this location as we loved it so much the first time. Unfortunately an encounter with a resident at the very end of the road cast a shadow over our stay. My wife and I were out on the water, I was in a single person canoe fishing and she was in her kayak just enjoying the scenery when a male came from his home, got into his motor boat and approached her accosting/accusing her of going……

“Loved the cottage and location! Property was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed for a very relaxing beautiful stay! Not on the water but extremely close walking distance to path to get to the water and beautiful lake! We rented a canoe close by and were able to put the canoe in the lake easily and paddle around the very quiet and peaceful lake and enjoyed the views! The property manager Tara was excellent and made sure we had everything. Also close to store/market Indian Hill……

“Wonderful weekend away on Moosehead lake to celebrate the 4th of July with our family! The accommodations were clean & comfortable and the guest house was a plus. We enjoyed the private beach/fire pit and the sunsets were absolutely amazing. The owner was great and the cleaning staff promptly responded when we checked out. Would definitely book another stay. ”

“We woke up to spectacular views of the lake and went to sleep after seeing a sky full of stars. This is a warm, clean cabin with all the necessities of home with the exception of WiFi. While the tv works, I couldn’t get any channels on it, however, this is the type of place where we unplugged and unwound!!! Short backwoods drive to Gulf Hagas for a great hike and 10 minutes to Greenville and Moosehead Lake. Highly recommended!!!”

“Overall, our experience was excellent! We brought plenty of food but treated ourselves to a night out at the Stress-Free Moose—great time, delicious food, and such wonderful people. We even made some new friends! We also went whitewater rafting just down the street at Northeast Whitewater, which was absolutely awesome. We’d totally do it all again! Location was great we could walk to supper! ”

“I 've been traveling to the Moosehead region since a child, orginally from Maine, stayed at various locations, this one was a true gem. Everything was perfect. Warm and comfortable atmosphere, easy access to main roads and trails, plenty of space to park car, trailer, and suv. All amenities you could hope for, immediate response from Sean when we had a question. Easy lake access and beautiful location.”

“ Try nice home about three miles from the paved road with access to beautiful Moosehead Lake. Very new and very clean. Kitchen is lacking some larger pots. ”
