This was my 6th year staying with my family the staff and managers are very friendly and helpful. I had an Issue but Stephaun, Neil and George made sure my family and I was well taken care of and fixed the situation so a big shoutout to them. Also want to big up the front desk staff especially TKay and the rest of the staff. Also big up to the cleaning staff and those that prepared the food l would definitely recommend anyone to the Bahia Principe Grand in Jamaica.

We enjoyed our time at this property. From the people and the pool and ocean to the dining options, it was all great. The check in process was a little time consuming even after doing the pre-check-in but it all got done. My only downside was that the facecloths and bath bats were not replenished during our stay. We will be coming back, truly enjoyed our experience.

My stay at Bahia Principe in Jamaica was one of the most disappointing vacations I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the food, drinks, housekeeping, and customer service were all far below expectations for an “all-inclusive” resort. The food quality was poor, the drinks watered down, and when staff served food, many had visibly bad attitudes. The resort was also dirty and poorly maintained housekeeping barely cleaned our room, and I had to constantly call “0” just to get towels or washcloths. Often, no one even showed up. Around the pool, every single seat was always taken, leaving nowhere to sit. For such a large hotel with a massive pool area, this should not be an issue. To make matters worse, they booked my family for a party, but not everyone could attend. I specifically told them to cancel the reservation, which they apparently failed to do. At checkout, the manager refused to remove my wristband until I paid $23 for an event I never attended a mistake entirely on their end. This was supposed to be a relaxing trip, but it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend Bahia Principe Jamaica to anyone looking for good service, cleanliness, or value for their money.

Prob the worst all inclusive I’ve ever stayed. First the check took 45 mins with only 1 person ahead of us the receptionists kept walking away. Then they gave us a king room for 4 ppl when we booked 2 double beds, promised to bring a roll away bed that never came we just gave up calling reception, said the double rooms were sold out and kept promising to switch the next day but it only became avail the day before we left so why bother at this point! The food was terrible, the wait line for omelettes etc was long because only 1 staff working, the customer service was terrible we would sit for 20+ min in the dining hall before anyone came to after drinks, I’ve never tipped so little a resort! the receptionist at check in said I could pay for an extra guest but when my niece came and I tried to sign her in another one told me I couldn’t 😭.The rooms/bathrooms were subpar, hallway carpet dirty and smells moldy, The whole stay was all around terrible and was the worst first impression of Jamaica for my friend who came with me, never again!! Next time for my yearly trip home I will do a proper all inclusive like I usually do!

While Bahia Principe Grand is undeniably beautiful from a distance, the closer you get, the more that polish begins to fade. Here’s our honest evaluation: Arrival & Check-In: You enter through a gorgeous reception area—but brace yourself: the heat and humidity are immediate and intense (understandably, it’s summer). Hopefully, you checked in online during the 1.5-hour drive in, which will help move things along more smoothly. Be prepared to answer the same questions already filled out on your C-5 immigration form. Once that’s done, you’re off to your room. Resort Layout: This is a large resort. Bahia Grand is the family side, while Bahia Luxury is adults-only—and the difference between the two is evident. For context: your room number is five digits—the first two indicate your building, the last three your room. Our First Room – Building 11: Unfortunately, our initial room had several issues: Outdated vinyl tile flooring A faint moldy odor Roaches (yes, plural) When we raised the issue with Guest Services, Ms. T. Check in was terrible. Stayed for one night after spending time with family in Jamaica. Check in was terrible, took over 2 hours. Couldn’t arrange transportation because they closed at 5 and we were still trying to get checked in. Front desk claimed to have made a reservation at Picasso’s restaurant, apparently they didn’t have one reserved for us. We then asked for take out since they weren’t seating anymore, that was another issue. Rudolph Fisher was unfriendly and unaccommodating. I’m not sure if it’s because we were also Jamaican, just didn’t live there anymore, but the service was horrible. I only chose this place because the other properties were unavailable. Should’ve went to Montego Bay!! A waste of time and money. I travel very frequently and have NEVER regretted staying at a place , until now!!

I recently stayed at this resort, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. From the moment I checked in, it was nothing but issues. The card reader on the door was broken, and it took over an hour for someone to finally fix it. Not exactly the welcome you expect when you first arrive. To make matters worse, the room had no towels or wash rags. I waited for hours, only to end up having to go to the main lobby myself to get them. The staff didn’t just lack urgency they had attitudes like they absolutely hated being there. No one gave me towel cards at check-in, and I didn’t even know I needed them until I tried to get towels for the pool. Again, more attitude and confusion. The entire experience was filled with poor communication, unprofessional staff, and zero customer service. There was no room service, no hospitality, and no accountability. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, this is not the place. Unless you enjoy frustration, rudeness, and doing everything yourself stay away!
