“Beautiful traditional family house. Amazing views. Lovely pool. I swam most days. Peaceful setting that we did not want to leave. Stayed for a month!. Giorgio and his sister were very helpful. Well stocked kitchen. We fell in love with Poggio Mirteto town. We had lovely walks, visited hill towns . Enjoyed Marmore falls and Narni in particular.. Easy access to train station in 20 minutes. Umberto on hand next door if there is a problem. Bliss....”

It's easily accessible to Rome and we often drove to Ribbibia Metro station which was an hours drive and then 20mins into the heart of Rome. Also an hour's drive to HydroMania water park. The local village of Casaproto was about 5 mins walk and was a beautiful local village. The property itself was traditional and on the basic side, but cosy none-the-less. “We stayed at La Cucina after Christmas. The villa is in a picturesque olive orchard and the grounds were lovely. Giuseppe was very flexible with our early check-in and showed us all the features in the house. We were lucky to have sunny weather, and we enjoyed the outdoor ping pong table. Traveling with children, we appreciated the washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable and the rooms warm and comfortable. The climate control in the villa is amazing and a very welcome break from the midday heat. We had 3 day trips into Rome for sightseeing and Gelato. We had a fantastic time.
