“Based on previous reviews we were looking forward to our stay in Melfi and were not disappointed. The apartment is bright and modern and perfectly located within very short walking distance of cafes and restaurants as well as Melfi castle. Our host Giorgio was very friendly and gave us many recommendations for our stay and kept in touch to ensure everything was to our liking. Highly recommended property and a wonderful host. “Acerenza is een meer dan 2000 jaar oud stadje gelegen op een bergtop van meer dan 800 m hoog met in het centrum een Romaanse kathedraal. Het huis ligt in één van de smalle stegen dichtbij een parkeerplaats van dit stadje. Het pand is oeroud, maar totaal gerenoveerd. De overwelfde slaapkamer bevindt zich op een lager niveau dan de woonkeuken, waardoor die heerlijk koel blijft. De ontvangst was uiterst hartelijk en vooraf werden we goed geïnformeerd over allerlei activiteiten en……

“Un petit hôtel à l'ancienne comme il n'en existe plus beaucoup, situé dans une charmante petite ville de la Basilicate. Un peu dans son jus mais pour une étape ça passe. La chambre est correcte, le lit confortable et la salle de bain un peu petite mais fonctionnelle. C'est très calme en revanche. Le petit-déjeuner n'est pas très varié avec beaucoup de pâtisseries "maison" mais un peu sèches à mon goût. Il y a une pizzeria juste à côté, non testée. La ville a son petit charme mais il ne vaut……
